Because the Shea Butter is unrefined, there may be bits of impurities and some sediments present (tiny bits of the shell, plant fibres, etc) in the butter. You may also find various natural inconsistencies in color including darker spots and grey streaks, and texture as some batches may be grainier than others from batch to batch.

Aromatic Description: Strong, pungent, and sometimes smoky aroma characteristic of pure & natural Shea Butter.

Consistency: Firm, solid consistency at room temperature, but soft and pliable when warmed.



Absorption: Unrefined Organic Shea Butter is easily absorbed into the skin, leaving a protective barrier to help lock in moisture and prevent moisture loss.

Storage: It is recommended that our Unrefined Organic Shea Butter is kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. The product will become liquid if stored above ambient temperatures, but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight).

Caution: For external use only. If nursing, pregnant or under a doctors care, please consult with a doctor before use. A skin test is recommended prior to use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.
